National Astronomy Day 2008
Join us and our friends at Pinnacle Mountain State Park (Visitors Center) for National Astronomy Day. Activities include solar viewing in the afternoon, special indoor programs, giant bubble blowing, and viewing through telescopes from 9-10 p.m. This is a great family-friendly activity that you and your children can do together!
Regular Monthly CAAS Meeting
Join us at our regular monthly meeting on the second Saturday of each month at the River Ridge Observatory at 7 PM. We typically have a short business meeting followed by a presentation on an interesting topic and weather permitting observing in our observing field afterward. We often have a potluck meal before the meeting and always share in camaraderie. Every once in a while, we will trade witty banter as well. Never, ever, do we break into song.
