Astrophotographer, poet, telescope builder, engineer. Our July speaker can be tagged with many labels. John Reed will have an original presentation on Dwarf Stars, Neutron Stars, and Black Holes at River Ridge Observatory at 7:00 pm on July 13. The talk will cover how these objects were first detected, the new physics they required, and what our current understanding is of them. Christina Lynn will present Scorpius for the constellation of the month.
