The 2011 Star Party season is in full swing! This Saturday evening, July 30th, CAAS invades beautiful Woolly Hollow State Park, under dark skies near Greenbrier, Arkansas, for the park’s Summer Star Party. This is typically one of our most popular and widely attended events of the year. The fun starts just before sunset and runs until 11 p.m. Clouds permitting we will have outstanding views of Saturn, the Summer constellations and Milky Way, galaxies, star clusters and double stars.
No one is under qualified to be star party volunteer. A star chart and sharing your passion for the night sky with the guests is all it takes. Come join the fun!
