You are cordially invited to join CAAS at its July 2011 meeting on July 9th at 7 p.m. in the classroom on the grounds of the River Ridge Observatory. After a short business meeting, CAAS member and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Solar System Ambassador Darrell Heath will make a presentation on NASA’s robotic exploration of Mars entitled: “Red Rovers: Robotic Exploration of the Planet Mars!” This program covers the past, present and the future of robotic exploration of Mars. The program is both educational and very entertaining and should not be missed.
Clouds permitting we will adjourn to the observing field for fun and fellowship under Saturn, the gibbous moon, and the summer constellations! We hope to see you there!
