Saturday March 21 – Public Night and Regular Monthly Meeting at 7 PM
NOTICE: Due to COVID 19, this meeting is on hold. We will not be meeting in the normal way but we are looking into holding a Virtual Meeting to see presentations. Members are still welcome to come to site on any clear night and try their hand at the Messier Marathon but that observing event will unfortunately not be held.
Everyone, members and non-members, please join us at 6 PM for our regular monthly meeting, 5 PM if you are going to join us for the Supper Bowl.
This meeting marks our annual Messier Marathon event. If weather permits, this meeting will be a full on observing event with no (or maybe just a little) indoor portion. The goal is for members to observe as many objects on the Messier List of faint and fuzzies as they care to. As this would take all night there is no shame in declaring you are satisfied but the prize and accolades goes to he or she who sees the most.
As always, meetings of the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society are open to the public.
