Starting at 7:30 PM CAAS president Bruce McMath will give a presentation at the visitor center auditorium entitled “Observing the Moon”. This will be a great program for anyone who is a beginner moon gazer. Bruce will tell you about the moon’s phases and many of the cool features that one can observe naked eye, with binoculars or with a small telescope.
This program will be especially useful to those of you who plan on checking out telescopes from the Central Arkansas Library System starting on October 10th.
Speaking of which….. Shani Atwood of CALS will be on hand to tell you more about this exciting new telescope program at the library.
