Regular Monthly Meeting September 14 at 7 PM at River Ridge Observatory

Eyepieces can make a huge difference in the performance and enjoyment of your telescope.   Andrew Hradesky will be giving a presentation on the evolution of eyepieces down through the years and what is currently popular.  If you have some old eyepieces to show off or any to trade, please bring them.

Steve Block will give the Constellation of the Month on Sagittarius which is well placed after sunset at it’s highest point in the south.  Sagittarius contains more Messier Objects than any constellation with 15.  Virgo is 2nd with 11.  Sagittarius Messier’s range from magnitude 4.5-9.5 while Virgos Galaxies go from 9.5-11.5.
