| The June meeting will feature a presentation by Darrell Heath called “Our Place In Our Galaxy”, a demo of NASA Night Sky Network program that members can present at just about any kind of outreach venue for a wide range of audiences. With a quarter and some birdseed you can help folks construct a mental image of the size of the Milky Way Galaxy, our place within it, and its distribution of stars. Constellation of the Month will deviate for one month only to the moon by Steve Block. He will provide a handout for observing and learning the moon in one short Lunar Month. |
