The February 9 meeting will be on Choosing and Using Binoculars. We will go through the basics of binoculars, talk about choices for Astronomy, and introduce some Astronomy Programs for Binoculars. There have been some good email threads lately on this subject and also our Scout program of using binoculars to aid in learning to use maps, learning the constellations, etc. Those with favorite binocular choices or techniques are welcome to add to the basic presentation by Rocky Togni. Andrew Hradesky will give the Constellation of the Month on Auriga. As always, meeting are free and open to the public.
The Supper Bowl is at 6 PM and Carl Freyaldenhoven will be providing a delicious Taco Soup made with turkey. Please use the link at top to RSVP so Carl will know how much to make. Cost of the Supper Bowl is $5 per person.
