President Don Ferren called the meeting to order at 7:30. There were 20 members and visitors in attendance including several people from the Arkansas-Oklahoma Astronomical Society.
Upcoming Events:
- We have a star party at Woolly Hollow State Park on July 18.
- We have star parties at Pinnacle Mountain State Park on July 25, August 22, and September 19.
- There is a Boy Scout event at Petit Jean Mountain on October 23 at the Rockefeller Institute. Details to come later.
- The Red River Astronomy Club will be having a Burger Burn star party on the weekend of October 9 and 10.
A visitor, Dave, from the AOAS, presented Wade Van Arsdale and Jim Fisher with Certificates of Appreciation for coming to the Mulberry Mountain Star Party and giving a IDA presentation.
