Saturday November 8th – Regular Monthly Meeting at 6 PM – In Person and Zoom

CAAS Monthly Meeting banner

Join us on the second Saturday of each month at 7 PM (March through October) or 6PM the rest of the year.  Either in person at the RRO or via Zoom.  The meeting details will be available to all members and to members of the public who ask a few days beforehand.   

The presentation is to be determined.

The Zoom meeting details will be sent to all members before the meeting and if you would like to attend but aren’t a member, email us at info@caasastro.org. 

Members are still welcome to come to site on any clear night.

Saturday October 4 – Public Star Party, International Observe the Moon, Two River’s Park – 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Central Arkansas Astronomical Society members will share views of the moon and other bright celestial objects through their telescopes. Please come join us, dress warmer than you think, and don’t wear clothes or shoes that light up.

Presentations will precede the observation session, covering what will be observed and how best to enjoy the event.

Note! Clouds will cancel this event; if in doubt, check back one hour before the scheduled starting time to see if the calendar shows a cancelation.
