In Addition to Club Service Awards, CAAS offers observing awards. These differ from the Astronomical League Observing Awards in that most AL awards focus upon discrete projects while the CAAS awards are intended to mark the general progress of an observer over time, across a broad spectrum of observing experiences, from novice to master observer.
