May 10th is National Astronomy Day and the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society invites you to come out to Pinnacle Mountain State Park for an afternoon and evening of celebration! Starting at 2PM we will have activities for everyone to enjoy: solar telescope views of the Sun, solar powered marshmallow roasts, water rocket launches and more. At 8PM we will have a free public star party with our knowledgeable stargazers as your guides to the wonders overhead. It’s all free and all family fun. Come out and explore your cosmos!
|Join CAAS on March 22nd on the beach at Woolly Hollow State Park for a free public star party. We CAASiopeians will set up scopes by the lake from 8 PM to 11 PM to share our passion for the night sky with you! Bring your kids, if you don’t have any, bring your parents, but be there.|
