Telescopes are one of the most exciting parts of Astronomy. October will be Telescope Month at CAAS. If you’ve been wanting to buy, sell, improve, or learn more about a telescope this is the month to attend the monthly CAAS meeting.
5:00 pm Board meeting.

7:00 pm Telescope Symposium with description of types of telescopes and mounts available followed by discussions about them. Jim Dixon and Rocky Togni will be giving an overview of the types, with time left for questions and discussion. Darrell Heath will present a Dead Astronomer of the Month on Mariah Mitchell.
Weather permitting, look through some of the scopes on hand and hopefully enjoy a cool clear night. Moonrise about 9:00 pm.
