Our expert panel (all having built dobs) will present a program on how to enhance your dob (or newtonian) to increase your observing pleasures and effectiveness.
Included in the discussions will be:
1. Newtonian and Dobsonian History
2. Reflector advantages and disadvantages
2. Optimizing a Dobsonian Reflector for better views and images
3. Digital Setting Circles
4. and more
Whether you own a dob or not, this will be an opportunity to learn more about the equipment that makes our hobby more fun.
Note: The StarBQ has been moved to August 11 due to construction going on at Observatory.
Note that prior to the 7 PM General Meeting the board will meet at 6 PM to discuss society business. All members are welcome to attend this business only meeting but it will be rather dry.
If you want to attend either meeting but don’t know how to find us, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for directions.
